Head's Welcome

FROM THE HEADMISTRESS's DESK

"Education is what remains after one has forgotten what one has learned in school "- Albert Einstein.

It is a privilege to be a part of a unique educational institute where nurturing young minds in an understanding environment is the sole priority of any educator . The wealth and treasure of sympathy, kindness , curiosity, and generosity hidden in the soul of every child is the effort of every educator that they try to unlock. Today we can proudly state that Alpine Convent School is an excellent example where everyone stands indefatigability for this. Alpine has seen 25 long successful years and we are proud of those educators, students , staff , and the management who all have passed out through this gate of success.

We truly have a fantastic school with a supportive and involved parent community, dedicated and highly skillful staff, excellent resources, buildings and the most fantastic students to work with. We are very sure that with the help of all the stakeholders and with their continuous support, we will be able to take our school to the next highest level of excellence. At our end, we shall continue working for the best interests of our beloved students and our community at large.

At Alpine, education is not just the amount of information that is put into a child’s brain. Our education system is the one that cater to the individual needs of our students. We want all young learners to achieve their full potential. Our task is to make it possible and our mission is to provide a platform for the same.

Each year, it had been a milestone in the field of success, whether in academics or cultural creative arts. Our children initiate projects, enjoy their skills , relish their accomplishments, and look for harder, more exciting challenges to overcome.

As the Headmistress of Alpine Convent School School , Sector-56, I feel a real sense of honor in having the opportunity to be an integral part of the educating fraternity. It is an exciting place to be. It is a school where we subscribe to High Performance Learning, a pedagogy that requires teachers to instill in our students' thinking skills and a growth mindset in an enquiry-based learning environment. These most essential ingredients for success in the 21st century are complemented and enhanced by a rich and diverse extra-curricular programme of sport, music, drama, educational expeditions and many other pursuits, all designed to foster all around development.

Warm Regards

Dr. Nivedita Lahiri
